  I went to Walburg Hospital for the first time Saturday. My appointment went well. Customer service was great from Dr Harris and her staff. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the wait to see the doctor. It looked like she was working in a dog with a skin problem which explains the wait, but feel like patients with appointments should come first. I think Dr Harris is a compassionate knowledgeable Vet. I like that her practice is closer and her prices are better than the pricey ones I was paying in WS. Missy even gave me a rebate coupon for the Sentinel I bought. What was a bonus was finding out they board too. I will continue to go there and take all my animals there.

  I called and was able to receive a work-in appointment for my baby after she was in an altercation with her sister. My girl did receive sutures, that are currently healing nicely. Dr. Harris and her staff were professional. My fiancé and I were amazed at the prices versus what we'd been paying elsewhere. I will be transferring all three of my babies care to Wallburg Animal Hospital.

  This is a long review but well worth your time if you are considering Wallburg Animal Hospital for your precious pet. My puppy has been a patient for the 3 months we have had him, and my husband and I are finally fed up. Let me first say that Dr. Harris and the other staff, Missy and Stephanie, are as nice as they can be and we loved the individual attention they gave our pup. However, niceties cannot makeup for the total incompetency of this clinic. Our puppy was misdiagnosed twice. The first time, I asked specifically if a certain illness could be causing his symptoms and was reassured there was no way. Lo and behold, the very next day we obtained confirmation it was exactly what I had suggested that had been completely dismissed by Dr. Harris. The second time, a worrisome cough prompted an allergy medication prescription that didn't work, then onto chest X-rays, then onto a 2 hour trip to see a cardiologist in Raleigh. After a month of worrying ourselves to death and hundreds of dollars spent on treatment, the cardiologist takes one look at him and tells us our vet did not read the X-rays correctly and there is nothing wrong with him other than a simple bronchitis-like infection. Dr. Harris never once even suggested it could just be an infection. Needless to say, we are switching vets immediately. If you care about your emotional health, your wallet, and most importantly, your pet, do not go to Wallburg Animal Hospital.
